Also one time as a beginner I tried using HDRI in blender it had me google to just rotate an HDRI! why not have a single XY slider somewhere to do that like in C4D. ![]() I tried using Octane for blender but it involves too many small settings to get the desired look of your art. C4D just makes 3D so fun and easy!Īnd one last reason is Octane obviously! Ik octane has its support for wide variety of softwares but it goes so well with C4D in my opinion. Also it makes you feel like 3D is some really complex shit even when it is not! I mean every concept is very well understood when I try to learn it in C4D compared to any other software. I have not used these softwares (Maya and Max) more than a few times but it did felt too daunting to me. X_X)īut I do understand that making all those Blender's options available somewhere in the workspace would make the UI too clutter which is the case in Maya or 3DSmax, Idk how a UI designer would be able to overcome that. Blender has Cycles, a path-traced good renderer for free but i find blenders UI not so beginner friendly. ![]() (I don't even wanna talk about Unreal Engine. Slow shutter speeds are commonly used when photographing in low light conditions or when we want to capture motion blur. Cinema 4D is a very powerful software but it’s inbuilt render sucks, you will have to learn pro render or use a third-party renderer like redshift or octane. So in the end I have to remember a hell lot of shortcuts and download tonnes of plugins or scripts, I personally prefer visually present options rather than shortcut for some reason. ![]() It makes you google for even the most simplest tasks. Blender has great options but mostly are either hidden inside menus or they don't have any clickable options and you can only access them using some shortcuts.
